Today's homeowners and businesses need more than just electricity—they need reliable energy when and where they need it most. Battery backup and energy storage systems allow you to store electricity for later use, reduce your dependence on the utility grid, and keep essential loads powered during outages.

At US Clean Energy Construction Inc., we design and install advanced battery storage solutions that help customers improve energy resilience, maximize the value of their solar investment, and gain greater control over their energy future.

Since 2009, we have helped customers throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania implement reliable clean energy solutions backed by engineering expertise, quality workmanship, and long-term customer support.

Benefits of Battery Backup & Energy Storage

Reliable Backup Power, Quiet, Clean Operation

Battery systems can automatically provide backup power when utility service is interrupted, helping keep essential appliances, lighting, refrigeration, communications equipment, and other critical loads operating. Unlike traditional generators, battery systems operate quietly and automatically without fuel storage or direct emissions during operation.

Improved Energy Resilience

Battery systems help protect homes and businesses from unexpected power interruptions while providing greater control over energy usage.

Protection Against Rising Utility Costs

Energy storage systems can help customers maximize the value of their solar investment and better manage energy consumption throughout the day.

Solar and battery storage systems work together to provide greater energy independence and flexibility.

During the day, solar panels generate electricity that powers your home or business. Excess energy can be stored in a battery system for later use instead of being sent back to the utility grid.

Benefits of combining solar and battery storage include:

  • Increased Self-Consumption of Solar Energy
  • Greater Energy Independence
  • Enhanced Backup Power Protection
  • Improved Energy Management
  • Peace of Mind During Grid Outages

Whole-Home Backup

A whole-home battery system is designed to support most or all of your home's electrical loads during an outage, providing maximum comfort and convenience. Our Tesla Powerwall and FranklinWH battery backup systems can be designed for whole-home backup when the home's electrical service and system configuration allow it. Our team evaluates the existing electrical system, utility service, solar system, and backup requirements to determine the appropriate configuration. The battery system can also be integrated with an existing solar system and, where compatible, an existing generator. Installing battery storage does not by itself prevent you from participating in applicable SREC programs.

Critical Load Backup

A critical-load system focuses on powering essential equipment such as:

  • Refrigerators and Freezers
  • Lighting Circuits
  • Internet & Communication Equipment
  • Medical Devices
  • Security Systems
  • Well Pumps
  • Essential Business Equipment

Our team will help determine the most cost-effective solution for your specific needs.

Battery storage is becoming an increasingly important part of commercial energy management.

Commercial applications may include:

  • Critical Load Protection
  • Business Continuity Planning
  • Demand Charge Reduction
  • Peak Load Management
  • Energy Resilience Planning
  • Sustainability Initiatives

Our team can evaluate whether energy storage is an effective addition to your commercial solar project.

Federal Incentives and Tax Benefits

Battery storage systems may qualify for federal tax incentives or other programs depending on the installation date, system requirements, ownership structure, and current federal regulations. Our team can help you understand which incentives may be available for your project, but tax eligibility should be confirmed with your tax professional.
