Current Opening: Sr. Solar Technician
Location: New Jersey
Job Summary: Supervise solar construction jobsites and maintain completed solar systems throughout their contracted service life.
Responsibilities
- Travel to regional solar projects under construction and in operation.
- Lead the construction team and verify quality and safety standards.
- Track installation schedules and sequences and report to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate grid shutdowns, interconnections, inspections, and commissioning.
- Perform preventive maintenance, wiring inspections, mechanical repairs, string testing, and inverter inspections.
- Respond to urgent maintenance cases and complete site reports.
- Support system monitoring startup and coordinate task priorities.
Qualifications
- Strong background in electricity, circuits, and electronics.
- Understanding of the solar energy industry.
- Team-oriented and willing to learn.
